Installation

The Field Recorder plugin has recently been submitted to the Obsidian plugin list, and is currently pending review. If you would like to beta test the plugin, before the official release becomes available, you may install the Field Recorder plugin using the Beta Reviewers Auto-update Tool (BRAT).

License

Field Recorder plugin source code is dual-licensed, offering a choice of either:

• Parity Public License: An open source license from the "maximal copyleft" family. Allows you to use and share this software for free, but you have to share software that builds on it alike.
• Big Time Public License: Allows you to use and share this software for noncommercial purposes and in small business for free, while also guaranteeing that paid licenses for big businesses will be available on fair, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory terms.

If you choose the Big Time Public License, and are subject to its requirements for big businesses, the paid license is available (without further payment) upon providing evidence that the business is (A) a member of the Open Source Pledge, or (B) a subscriber to Tidelift. There is no requirement or expectation that funds from either program be distributed to the Field Recorder plugin authors.
