Center on Reveal

License

Center on Reveal keeps Obsidian's file explorer focused on the active file. It uses the built-in auto reveal behavior, then centers the revealed row and applies Obsidian's native flash highlight.

Behavior

  • Enables the built-in file explorer auto reveal on startup.
  • Centers the active file row after Obsidian reveals it.
  • Flashes the active file row with the built-in is-flashing class.
  • Does not add commands, settings, network calls, telemetry, or custom CSS.

Requirements

  • Obsidian 1.7.2 or newer.
  • File explorer enabled in the left sidebar.
