Click an already-active file in Obsidian's file explorer to rename it inline. No right-click, no F2, no context menu.
How it works
- Click a file → opens it (default Obsidian behavior)
- Click the already-active file again → inline rename
- Type the new name, press
Enter→ done
A smart cooldown prevents accidental rename when double-clicking to open.
