📝 Use Obsidian as Github issue editor!

A simple plugin to create Github issues directly from Obsidian with Git logic.
Be friendly with:

• 🔄 fetch
• ⬇️ pull
• ⬆️ push

How to use 🤷‍♂️

1️⃣ Install plugin

Browse Community plugins:

• open Settings
• selct Community plugins
• click Browse and search githobs
• Install it and Enable it

Find us on Obsidian Plugins.

🤲 Manual installation

Alternatively, you ca install manually:

• download from the releases page:
  • main.js
  • manifest.json
  • styles.css
• in your Obsidian vaults .obsidian/plugins/ folder, create githobs folder
• paste here those 3 files

2️⃣ Set up your plugin

Under the settings page, you need to insert those information:

1. a valid GitHub token (link to create one)
   Is just required repo scope (repo:status, repo_deployment, public_repo, repo:invite, security_events)

2. the owner name of the repository (es. GabAlpha)
3. the repository name (es. obsidian-githobs)

3️⃣ Enjoy the plugin

Open and edit your issue directly from Obsidian:

1. open the dedicated sidebar
2. create new note
3. insert the issue number to track and click
4. make job on your issue
5. push your updates to the repo
6. if you need, before you can pull and of course fetch
