Dream Analyzer is an AI-assisted dream journaling plugin for Obsidian.

It helps organize dream journals by analyzing dream entries, extracting structured entities, discovering connections between dreams, and tracking recurring themes.

Dream Analyzer uses AI to assist reflection and organization. It does not provide psychological or medical interpretations.

🔌 Requirements

For live interactive tables in the Dashboard and Index pages, installing the Dataview plugin is highly recommended.

⚙️ Configuration

1. Open Obsidian Settings -> Dream Analyzer.
2. Enter your OpenAI API Key (or save it securely via Obsidian SecretStorage).
3. Select your preferred AI Model and Embedding Model.
4. Set your base Dreams Storage Folder (defaults to Dreams).

📦 Installation

Via Obsidian Community Plugins (Upcoming)

Search for Dream Analyzer in Obsidian's Community Plugins directory and click Install.

Manual Installation

1. Download main.js and manifest.json from the latest GitHub Release.
2. Create a folder in your vault: .obsidian/plugins/dream-analyzer/
3. Copy main.js and manifest.json into .obsidian/plugins/dream-analyzer/
4. Reload Obsidian plugins and enable Dream Analyzer.
