Clean text you copy from Word, a web selection, or a PDF viewer, and paste it as readable Markdown. The plugin does not open office or PDF files.

Features

• Word: fix broken bold, letter-spacing, and extra blank lines
• Web selection: keep headings, lists, and links; drop tracking URLs; do not insert images; do not clip a whole page
• PDF copy: join hard line wraps into paragraphs (no OCR — scanned pages will not work)
• Commands: Tidy the note and Tidy the selection
• Regular paste keeps links. Paste as plain text keeps characters only
• UI follows the app language (Japanese, English, or German)
• Works offline (no network requests)

How to use

1. Install TidyPaste from Community plugins and enable it yourself
2. Open the source in Word, a browser, or a PDF viewer. Copy a range
3. Paste into a note with Ctrl+V / Cmd+V. Use Ctrl+Shift+V / Cmd+Shift+V for plain text
4. To clean text already in a note, run Tidy the note or Tidy the selection

Tips

• Copy the range yourself. This is not a web clipper and not a file importer
• Do not expect Word center/right alignment or PDF layout to be preserved
• Scanned (image-only) PDFs have no selectable text
