A life RPG system for the chronically ill as an Obsidian plugin.

Overview

For a long time, I've struggled to find fully integrated mood and pain trackers that account for the amount of spoons, or emotional/physical energy I have for tasks, habits, and activities in any given day. Any habit trackers that I found punished me for missing my everyday tasks during flareups, or didn't account for how much energy, how many spoons, it was taking me to just do them to preserve my streak. The habit trackers I did find that were geared towards people with chronic conditions were overly technical and didn't gamify my life the way I wanted them to. At it's core, Spoonie LRPG is for chronically ill spoonies like myself who want a way to gamify their life while also taking flareup days into account and not being punished for something that is out of our control and feels punishing enough as is.

Features

Use the "Set Day" button on the Spoonie LRPG Dashboard to start your day and set your spoon count. (Don't worry, if you realize you miscalculated, you can always change it later.) Add tasks and habits and assign them with how many spoons you think they'll take you on average. You get more XP for high priority, high spoon tasks on low spoon days than you do on high spoon days. These habits and tasks are able to be reoccuring as well! Restful tasks and habits will not only help you gain more XP on low spoon days, but should also be things that help you gain spoons! Activities are things you do in the day that add or take away spoons, such as going on walks, drinking water, etc. Restful activities help refund spoons, and you also get XP for any activities you do. Having a flare up and can't complete a task? No worries, you won't get punished or lose your streak because you're suffering. On days that you mark as flareup days, you gain extra XP for anything that you do, and can use a streak freeze to preserve your streak. Using the "New Journal Entry" button, you can log your mood and choose from a number of preset feelings, log your pain and choose from a number of primary locations for pain concentration, and write notes about your feelings. You can also query a block view of both journal entries and charts for both mood and pain, even viewing them together at the same time! When you're done with your day, hit the "Finalize Day" to update your streak!
