Auto Tag Puller

An Obsidian plugin that aggregates and displays tagged things across your vault using dynamic blocks or static editable lists.

Demonstration

1. Add whatever tag you want to anywhere on a note

2. In a new note pull in the lines associated with that tag in a static list that you can edit.

3. Or make it dynamic!

Installation

1. Open your Obsidian settings.
2. Navigate to Community plugins and ensure "Safe mode" is turned off.
3. Click Browse and search for "Auto Tag Puller".
4. Click Install, and then Enable.

Usage

• Live Dynamic Block (!#): Type !# and select a tag. This inserts a custom code block that automatically scans your vault and displays all matching lines inside a formatted container. This block updates dynamically every time you view the note.
• Static Editable List ($#): Type $# and select a tag. This instantly pulls all matching lines as raw text directly into your editor. The lines are grouped by their source file and formatted as a numbered list, allowing you to edit or delete them freely.
